At TierraMar Science Institute, we believe in conservation informed by science.

At TierraMar Science Institute, our mission is to inform restoration and conservation endeavors through the best available science and to build a network of protected natural and regenerative working landscapes. We're an all-volunteer community, which means all donations go toward active projects and research. Conservation – Education – Research

As a non-profit entity with a staff made up entirely of volunteers, every dollar entrusted to us by our supporters is spent on work in the field. We focus our efforts on habitat restoration, ecological reconciliation, regenerative agriculture, educational endeavors, and high-impact research projects. There’s nothing more important than the planet we share and the natural resources from which all of us benefit. At TierraMar Science Institute, we believe in following scientific research to guide the focus of our conservation efforts. We also believe in investing in today's students for a better and brighter future by promoting educational opportunities in conservation and agriculture-related fields of study. Projects

Impacting Conservation Efforts Nationwide

TierraMar Science Institute places conservation easements and conducts conservation research throughout the western United States and offers academic scholarships for conservation-related areas of study nationwide. We exist to see our working and natural lands protected and to advance the scientific fields of conservation and land management. Our community is comprised of landowners, land managers, scientists, researchers, and like-minded individuals who share a commitment to regional conservation efforts.
